Bmw automatic transmission warning light e46. The automatic transmission warning light means theres an issue with the transmission possibly the fluid temperature fluid level or pressure. I saw this smg warning light once before in summer of 2012 and just like before i restarted the car and the light went away. If the warning light does not go away or returns again there is a current fault and the system will need to be diagnosed by a technician using the diagnostic software systems to check the transmission fault codes.

If you leave car parked for approx half hour warning light goes out then same thing will happen as above.
